JUSTIN MALECKI

 DIRECTOR, RADIOLOGIC SCIENCES PROGRAM, CHESAPEAKE COLLEGE

Justin brings over twenty years of comprehensive experience in healthcare, spanning patient care, radiology informatics, and education, into his current role as Director of the Radiologic Sciences Program at Chesapeake College. His clinical expertise is broad, with significant work in modalities such as general radiography, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, and PET/CT, complemented by a deep involvement in informatics and systems administration.
 
At Chesapeake College, he leads in maintaining programmatic accreditation standards, curriculum development, and faculty oversight. Academically, Justin holds an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration and is currently advancing his commitment to leadership in education by pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at UMES, where he is currently in his third year. This educational journey underscores his dedication to enhancing student achievement through both educational and operational excellence.
 
Additionally, Justin leverages his technical experience to creatively explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom, both as a faculty member and as a PhD student, aiming to harness AI's potential in an ethical manner to promote critical thinking and problem solving.
